Star's Puppy University

Do you have a puppy or dog that has never been groomed before? Then Star's Grooming University is for you!

Star's University is a five week course in grooming etiquette for your dog.

For one hour per week, your dog will learn all things grooming, easing their way into the process and learning to love it! We want happy tails coming into the salon at all times!

Week One - Intro

Introductions - Getting to know each other with treats and games!
Learning how to stand on the table
Nail clip and ear clean
Introduction to some salon tools with a brush and comb through

Week Two - Salon Equipment

Recap of the previous week
Introduction to scissors and clippers
Face, feet and bum trim
Learning the handling techniques for the different parts of grooming

Week Three - Salon Noises

Recap of the previous weeks
Introduction to the noise of the shower, bath and dryers
Learning to be calm on the table with dryers
Introduction of clipper noises near their face and ears

Week Four - Bath Day

Recap of the previous weeks
Bath and dry
Brush out
Face, feet and bum tidy
Ears cleaned
Nail clip

Week Five - Full Groom

Bath and dry
Brush out
Full groom to your specifications
